It can proudly be said that LIUNA Local 506 is one of the most multicultural Unions in North America. Our ninety year history has always welcomed minorities into our organization. In fact, our Union and City was built on the backs of immigrants coming to Toronto.
It was an honour that we sent two Delegates, Roly Bernardini and Mamadou Bah to the 2nd Annual LIUNA AFRICAN CAUCUS in the City of Philadelphia. This Caucus focuses on the responsibility of Local Unions to take appropriate measures to recruit and train leaders of every gender, colour and ethnicity.
