The 20th Annual Carmen Principato Scholarship Awards Ceremony was hold on Monday, October 29, 2012, honouring our members' children whose academic achievements and outstanding community involvement were awarded scholarships and bursaries.

An independent committee comprised of professional people who graciously donated their time with the selection of 4 scholarship winners and 10 bursaries, based on their grades, community involvement and extracurricular activities. we are very grateful to them for generously donating their time to assit with the selection process.


2012 Scholarship Selection Committee:

- President, Sam Chiapetta of Choice Wall Installations

- Senior Legal Counsel, Sean McFarling of Ontario Provincial District Council

- Labour Relations Manager, PCL Constructors Canada, Christopher Robinson

- Ardo Gidaro, Owner of A-Z Fun Rentals


Two of our selection committee members from Choice Wall Installations and PCL Constructors Canada Inc. were intrigued by the calibre of these bright young endowed individuals and voluntarily and unquestionably offered an additional two bursaries. In fact, Sam Chiapetta of Choice Wall Installations quoted:

"I want to thank you and the Board Members for asking me to be part of a great occasion. It was an honour to be asked and it was really nice to the the excitement of the students accepting awards and their produ parents. I wish that one day i can to the same for my own company, even if it was one scholarship, I would be proud of it.!"
